John, when I searched for Luz Gibraltar on Familysearch I didn’t get hits for those images. How did you find them?

Hi Jamjar
They are found via the FamilySearch catalogue, just search for Gibraltar
Specifically, for civil registration, the images came from
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/440722?availability=Family%20History%20Library

and the church records
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/459422?availability=Family%20History%20Library

You'll notice that not all of the films have been digitized, i.e. no civil registration marriages at all. The card indexes to births, marriages and deaths are where to start as they give the reference numbers to find the event in the actual registers. The cards also contain quite a bit of information, even without looking at the registers.
And there are typed indexes within the church records as well.

In 1881 at 5 Governor's Parade. Has Jose as Pablo, but the ages are corect:

That's interesting because I looked for Antonia's death, and found one possible, but her husband wasn't Juan (might have been Pablo, can't remember!)
Didn't find a death for her first husband, Mr Luz (might have missed it of course!)

Jamjar, I can remember looking at that Gibraltar site with the census returns before, and really struggling with it. You've made it all look so simple!
John

Thank you for the information John.

The Gibraltar site is excellent for their census’.

Would be good to find the death of Antonia’s first husband, as well as her death.

I wonder how man children there were, Mary was a surprise.

The 1891:

12742 BADO Pablo M 55 GIBRALTAR Foreman of Labourers ? GOVERNOR'S PARADE Head Employed
12743 BADO Antonia F 67 GIBRALTAR GOVERNOR'S PARADE Wife
12744 NUSA Carlota F 31 GIBRALTAR GOVERNOR'S PARADE Step Daughter (WIDOW)
12745 NUSA Rafael 11 GIBRALTAR GOVERNOR'S PARADE Step Grandson
12746 NUSA Elena F 5 GIBRALTAR GOVERNOR'S PARADE Step Grand daughter
12747 TRAVERSO Ines F 19 GIBRALTAR GOVERNOR'S PARADE Step Grand daughter

Based on what you have found there, this must be Antonia's death registration
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSN3-332W-Z?i=1332&cat=440722

Antonia Bado, died 4 October 1893
Age 69
Since her husband was a Foreman, living Governor's Parade.
By the way, this is the index card
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSN3-4SFS-M?i=2435&cat=440722

Also going on that census return, this should be Pablo's death, 12 September 1895, age 60.
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSN3-33NX-S?i=1624&cat=440722

And the informant on that was his grandson, Rafael Nuza.
