Have you found his father in 1911 - maybe he was with him or any siblings?
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

Yes all the other siblings accounted for in 1911. His father Edward was living in Yatton near Bristol with his daughter Gertrude .

There is a James Wheeler born 1877 Weston super Mare who joins the Kings (Liverpool) Regiment in 1915. He gives his address as 12 Stanford View, Winscombe and his next of kin is Edward Wheeler of the same address. Service number 4411.

I have been trying to find the army  record you mention for James and wonder if you can point me to the correct site. i cant find a death so he may have survived. his sister died many  years latter in Winscombe so i think its the correct person.
thanks again.

Thank you . I had put to much info in. His service number found him . I  notice he married  a Ada Jane  ? address Bettett Sandy Lane but I dont know in what town.
The most likely one i think is Ada jane Kirkham . Marriage 1918 q3 at Denbighhshire Wales.
But I still cant find their deaths. But at least progress .

There is a birth in 1919 for a Dorothy Wheeler mmn Kirkham. She appears in 1939 in Prestatyn with an Ada J Anderson and Albert Anderson. However I cannot find an Anderson/Wheeler marriage.

The town mentioned in the Army papers is Dyserth.
