Would WILSON have been a common surname in Norway in the 1830's
YORKSHIRE: Duffin, Henning, Hampshire, Allerston, McLaren, Levett

I suspected as much.
Its a long story, I have an immigration record for a Charles Wilson into the US in the 1860's, and suspect the name is an alias, a cover up used by an elusive ancestor. Thanks.
