« on: Monday 16 April 18 11:54 BST (UK) »
Derby Park, Liverpool apparently used to have a Lake but a young boy aged7 or 8 drowned in it,
and owing to public outcry the Lake was Filled in including the bridges and boats therein.
Does anyone know when this was ?
Or can anyone find any Newspaper Info please ?

According to old maps it was between 1939 and 1955. The lake is not shown on the 1955 map. https://www.old-maps.co.uk/index.html#/Map/334987/395591/13/101329
