It's the only photo of him in uniform;  the rest are a few family ones.....often with his pipe!

His nieces and nephews, and their children, are scattered worldwide so something they can easily access on the internet is wonderful.

Aw... how nice of you to say. I'm happy to help as the RAF is very close to my heart for a number of reasons...One of my ancestors also lost his life...he was a Pilot Officer 153 squadron - Bomber Command and was shot down over Duisburg, Germany in 1944.

I'm sure your Dad would have been very proud of you Jan for making sure he is never forgotten ;)
