Did she have several sisters? Her parents may have mixed up names. Was there another Martha, Mary or Sarah?
A great-uncle of mine was registered under 1 forename and baptised with a different name. He used either or both as an adult. Seeing his military records proved he was 1 person. The baptismal name was name of his uncle who died aged 6. The uncle had been called after his paternal grandfather.

There does seem to have been another daughter with Sarah as her first name. The thing that I don't get is that Martha is not the oldest daughter, so I'm just confused!

For clarification, the 1911 census is mis-transcribed Martha Mary
