Hi

Just had a look at electoral registers.
A Joan Chapman at 16 West Avenue Ackworth in 1947 with an Ernest & Ada Chapman.
A Joan Chapman is living at West View Ackworth, disappears 1948.
A marriage of a Joan Chapman to James Hillier 1947 at Hemsworth.
Joan & James Hillier then appear in Hemsworth Electoral Registers.

Hi

Had another look at the Electoral Registers for 6 West View.
A Thomas Chapman is living at that address so is John T Chapman & Ellen Markey Chapman so I would say Joan Chapman would have got married around 1947-48, when she disappears from the registers.

Looks like the marriage has him as Hellier but the other register have him as Hillier.

A Joan Hillier dies 2003 at Hampshire North district date of birth is down as 11 August 1922, but I have seen mistake with birth date on registers before.
