Thomas Wheeler/Wheller

I am afraid the spelling of this family changes on records on line.
Thomas was born about 1796 ,most likely in the  Greinton/Grenton  area as the family remain there for some time. On 27/8/1820 he married Ann Phelps -latter shown as Hannah on returns.
The 1841 census return shows the  family name as Whitter  . The children are  William 15,Samuel 11,Thomas 6,Eliza 6 months. The Eldest Josiah is on the 1841 census for Moorlinch as a apprentice Carpenter .
Fast forward to 1851 and  the family name is shown as Wheller .Thomas is  now 61,Hannah 52 and the children Thomas 16,Eliza A 10 ,Edward  ( Phelps wheeler) is 6 .
Thomas dies aged 67 and was buried on 14 Nov 1858 at Greinton/Grenton. 

I would like to know who his parents were and would appreciate any information. Have been able to take his family forwards but no luck on his parents.

Thomas Wheeler baptised 24 April 1796 Catcott parents Robert and Ann

Catcott is 2 miles NW of Greinton.

Hello again. Thank you for this .Where did you find it.yes I see him now in 1841as being of independent means. Son Robert a farmer.
On Ancestry I found a Poll tax entry for Robert Senior in 1846--saying he had a house and freehold land. Would love to learn more. He dies July 1848.

by way of Update . I see Ann wife of Robert 1771-1848 is on the 1851 census living with their son Robert who is a High Constable. She is 81 and came from Middezoy in Somerset. Cant find her marriage --quite a lot of  Robert Wheeler's and Ann. She is not on the 1861 census.

The Anne Buried 1853is wife of Robert.
Not sure I understand your first post. Did Robert Marry twice?
