I don't think this has been mentioned elsewhere - if it has, apologies for duplication. A website is available with information on the four Devon branches of the Thorning family, compiled over a long period of time by Roy Thorning. It is not totally up-to-date, as my daughter compiled it and no longer has the software to do anything with it since her old computer died, so it's a bit stuck in time. I shrink from the prospect of trying to build a new one, not being very techy! However it does have a lot of information going back to the 1700s and might be of interest to anyone seeking Thornings.
