Family search has Johns birth
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VQ71-V61
Other children with parents Malcolm McNaughton & Agnes McArthur all baptised Kincardine by Doune: Peter 1806, William 1808, Malcolm 1810, Alexander 1811, Agnes 1815, Angus 1818, Daniel 1819, Janet 1821, Janet 1823, Walter 1825
These transcripts all appear on familysearch using FHL film no 1040191
but you cannot view the original documents there.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

I wish to thank those who have replied to my post. I have one concern with the family supplied by Rosie99. I have obtained more information due to your contribution, and I thank you very much. When I got the birth, marriage and death details of these people, (sons and daughters of Malcolm and Agnes McNaughton), I have found that, yes, they were all born in Scotland, BUT, all except two, died in Quebec, Canada. I am still looking for information on John McNaughton, and Euphemia McDonald, as they are proving elusive. I am wondering if it is possible that the rest of the family all went to Canada except John? He and Euphemia were married in Scotland before they came to Australia. I have tried to get information from Scotland's People, but they had nothing at first and once they wanted money up front before they would show what they had. I will have to try a couple of other sites that I have on hand.  Again thank you all.

I'm a bit puzzled about your comments regarding scotlandspeople. What do you mean by "they had nothing at first" and then wanted money up front. What type of information are you referring to?

They require you to register, which is free of charge. Once you have registered you can view the indexes free of charge, but you need to buy credits before you can view original images.

If you do that you will be wasting your time as far as Scottish records are concerned.

Hi FLST, I got a reply of zero match, then on another instant, I got a hit. I need to buy credits to obtain the record. That is all I meant. Sorry I was not clear.
