Looking for Burials of Henry Lister died 1900 Presteigne
Also, Henry Lister died 1922 Presteigne.
Any help much appreciated

Thankyou for that it helps me sort a few details.  Its the burials im after for my inlaws. Have tried Presteigne cemetery, Knighton old and new cemeteries but nothing to be found.

In 1891 they were both living in Llantwitfardre

In 1901 Henry seniors wife Harriet is in Presteigne, could she have moved back there after Henry's death.  Have you located where she is buried.

Henry Lister born 1881 West Wall, Presteigne died on 27 January 1922 in Church Street, Presteigne. I have his death certificate. He is not buried in Presteigne Cemetery or St Andrews Presteigne.

Harriet died 1921 11b 147 Sept Knighton.
I havent sent for her death certificate yet.

There are lots of Herefordshire newspaper reports of the inquest into death of Henry Lister in 1900 as he sensationally burnt to death whilst drunk. They say he was buried on Saturday 22nd September 1900 but they do not say where.
I only read a couple of the reports, at my local records ofice, and a detailed reading may give you the information you are looking for.

Wow thats some sort of news i wasnt expecting ref Henry Lister 1900.
I now have burial date just need to find out where he is buried or at least obtain a copy of the newspaper article.
