The Dickson Family taken Dundee circa 1915
« on: Saturday 21 April 18 17:07 BST (UK) »
Can any of you wonderful people help to improve this photograph.

I would be very grateful especially if something could be done with the faces of the three little boys sitting in the front row.

Thank you

Looking good Peter, thank you. The 3 wee boys faces are much clearer.
The older boy standing on the left of the photo is David Dickson who died in 1916 and the smallest one sitting is Martin Dickson who died in 1915. The middle boy sitting was James Dickson and he was killed in WW2. See my post on WW2 in Memorium Board.

The older lady and gentleman were my great grandparents and the lady second from the left was my gran.

This photo is a treasured piece of family history.

Thanks so much.

Sad to hear the all-too-common story of young lives cut short, Dorrie.
My mum was a Dorrie: real name Doris, some called her Dot, others Dorrie.
Cheers,
Peter

Hi Peter my real name is Doris too. I was named after my mum but my uncle said it would end up as big Doris and wee Doris so he "named" me Dorrie and it has been that ever since.

Great work as always, Peter, especially on the boys' faces! My try (with each boy wearing the same set of cloned eyes/noses  :))

Thanks, Mike. Yours is great, too. Tough one, wasn't it. I think you and I both like having a go at the ones that try to wear out our eyes. ;D

Thanks to you too Mike. I love their noses/eyes.

I knew it would be quite a challenge but you have both come up trumps as usual.

Hope your eyes are recovering 8)

My thanks and gratitude for your expert work.
