Raymond Kelsey Damschen born 1916 Montana, Died Hawthorne LA-1993 Help?

Raymond died on the 22nd May 1993 in Hawthorne City California.
I am trying to find his last resting place and if possible an obituary .
Can anyone help ?

Records indicate that the Department of Veterans affairs knows his death date, he served in the military late in WWII, if they supplied a stone for his grave they can tell you where it was delivered.

Is Lillian Damschen who died in California 2009 a relative, if so she was buried Lewiston City Cemetery, Lewiston Montana

Highly probable as Raymond was raised in Lewistown.

Brother Marvin Orlando Damschen was buried Lewistown City Cemetery Lewistown, Fergus County, Montana - no record showing for Raymond but could be worth asking the cemetery

Lillian Johnson had married Floyd (Gene) Damschen who was the son of Floyd Arnold Damschen and Emma Elma Damschen.
 

If nothing materialises on here. There is an RAOGK volunteer for Los Angeles who might be able to help.  Under JGBC’S Los Angeles County Obituaries.

Raymond had married 29 May 1957 but divorced April 1967.

A very good source Sandra .I didn't know Public libraries in LA are open on a Sunday. Jeremy of raogk was very helpful even though there was nothing to find , it crossed one item off the wish list.
