They may have divorced - going back to Canada Voters List 1953 - it shoes Mrs Beatrice M Pease (homemaker) with a daughter "P"  (stenographer) - 17 th Strete West. Calgary Alberta.

Herbert Leonard Pease -  January 7, 1937 - March 19, 2009  -  Len was born in Calgary and was the third child of Beatrice and Colonel Leonard Pease. Leonard grew up in Calgary and for many years, delivered telegrams for the Canadian Pacific Railway.  etc etc

Published in The Calgary Herald from Mar. 27 to Mar. 28, 2009

This also gives names of siblings. Using Canada 411 you may be able to trace living relatives

Leonard could have been a son - found a death record for Herbert Leonard Pease  born 6 July 1898 Brighton - passed away 17 Mar 1962 Burnaby British Columbia - parents Herbert Pease and Olive.

Looks possible, doesn't it? If she was back in Calgary in 1972, but he'd died in Burnaby in 1962...

This is such wonderful information.  I have a postcard dated-marked 1907, which shows a house in Wombourne, Staffordshire and a small girl sitting in front of it: the message on the back reads "this is our house" and is signed with the initials LMT.  A bit of research has shown that LMT was Lizzie (she was there on the 1911 census), and her second husband was Humphrey Anslow was living in the village at the time of the 1901 census (which is probably how they came to know each other).  But you've added so much to this!

Edited to add: it's likely that the small girl was Beatrice.
