Royal Military School of Music
« on: Sunday 22 April 18 14:42 BST (UK) »
Some years ago, around 2007, someone posted regarding their ancestor's records at the Royal Military School of Music at Kneller Hall, Twickenham. Since then the School has moved elsewhere. Does anyone know where it moved to and where the records are held?

My great grandfather, William Andrew Morton, born 1857, was a Band Sergeant in the Black Watch and later a founder member of the Royal Marines band. There is a family story that he attended the school at Kneller Hall and I'm trying to find out if that was the case but don't know where the records are.

Can anyone help?

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
