Hi kenny2018

Here is the engagement notice >

https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/EP19390325.2.140.5

The couple married the same year - she using the name, "Dorothy Irene TAYLOR".

We do need to be cautious with supplying any information regarding the children of this union - it is possible that they may still be living.

*  Can you be more specific please about what it is you want to find out about the family of Trixie / Dorothy Irene TAYLOR ?

Kenny  ... here is the cremation record for Arthur James ISBISTER who died in 1981.

It does appear that he and Dorothy Irene divorced in possibly mid 1950's.   Can find no actual evidence of Divorce because newspapers (PapersPast - NZ) do not extend beyond 1949 ... and because divorces processed through the Wellington Courts, do not always show up in the online index at Archives New Zealand.   [Have a probable re-marriage for Dorothy - but her new surname does not lead to finding a death (record) in NZ under that name.   ]

https://wellington.govt.nz/services/community-and-culture/cemeteries/cemeteries-search/details?id=49405&serviceType=Cremation&previousPage=%2fservices%2fco

Arthur appears also to have re-married.

You could try the link provided at the cemetery above to enquire if they have details of next-of-kin (or name of the funeral director - who may have further info. )

Karori Cemetery Office link > >

The son (as per name you supplied), is possibly the person whose name appears only once on NZ electoral rolls (in 1963 at Wellington).

Hi Kenny

Here is the cremation record for Dorothy Irene (Trixie) EVANS ... died 2012 aged 94 years.

https://poriruacity.govt.nz/services/cemeteries/cemetery-search/cremation/?id=26228

You'll see the name of Funeral Director on that record.
Would suggest that you contact them and ask if they can provide a copy of her funeral notice or details of her next-of-kin.

Just adding the birth registration listing for Dorothy ... she was actually born in 1918 although registration of her birth did not take place until 1921.

NZ BDM (online )

BIRTH

Parents :  Kathleen and Robert
Date of Birth (as deduced from online index) = 9 March 1918

DEATH

2012 / 11267 - EVANS - Dorothy Irene - date of birth - 9 March 1918
Date of Death (deduced from online index) = 10 May 2012

Don't know if you had this info from your previous thread back in 2008 ? (there's so much more information available online now than there was 9-10 years ago).  ;D

Death notice for Percy EDWARDS .... uncle of Mrs Trixie TAYLOR, 183 Thorndon Quay (Wellington) ...
