What is a nurse child exactly?

I think I worked out the Hickey’s finally! William Byrne (1895) had a sister Cecilia, and she married a Hickey!! My good old Nan saving death notices in the paper my have save the day!!

Yes i saw that marriage yesterday the father's occupation put me off never noticed who the witness was.

Well I presume so, although she is down as a Kathleen rather than a Catherine (but I guess they’re pretty similar names). There is definitely a Vera sister too somewhere, but I can’t find any record of her.

Martin Hickey seems to have moved to 241 New Bride St,Iveagh Bld's by 1913 there are 2 Veronica Hickey's born Dublin South 1920 could she be one of these

I am a great grand-daughter of Bridget Sandford and have got as far in the family history as you have.  It is on my grandfathers/mothers side.  Which side are you?  I have been struggling for years trying to find out some relations from the Sandford/byrne family.  My Grandfather is the great grandson of
brdget Sandford and Thomas (I think) It has been a few years since I did the family tree!
