Hi, my husband’s great grandfather is Adam Mitchell,b.1855, doctor/surgeon who lived in Borris
- in - Ossery. He married Harriett Scott Mitchell b.1854.  I wondered if anyone has published a family tree of either of these two, as I am finding all these Mitchells very confusing, despite getting a lot of help from this thread.
I know a little of what happened to some of Adam and Harriett’s children, if anyone is interested.
Thanks 🙂

Registration District : Donaghmore  https://www.swilson.info/regdistmap.php?gregdistid=57

 district dissolved start 1887
, and townlands assigned to Roscrea & Urlingford

So you need to change Districts depending on dates.

Thanks Hallmark, I’m beginning to make progress. I now realise that The brothers Adam (MD) and Thomas Mitchell (solicitor) both married their cousins, the sisters Harriett Scott Mitchell and Fanny Mitchell respectively. It  clarifies a lot! If I’m not right, do say! 🙂
