Pwllheli
« on: Tuesday 24 April 18 15:06 BST (UK) »
Hi,

My grandfather lived in North Terrace, top of North Street in 1928 and then moved to Hermitage Terrace where my Father was born in 1933, I have located North Terrace but unable to locate Hermitage Terrace, Does anyone know if this terrace still exists or where it was located if demolished.

Best Regards.

There's a reference to it here ...

... but it helps if you can read Welsh (no, I can't).

In the last census it only has numbers 1-3 and with Allt Bardy?, is between 52 and 64 North Street on the enumerators walk

Many thanks to you both, Looking on Google maps it looks like it was where the later apartments have been built ( opposite No 51  )  as my Grandfather lived close by in North terrace which has only three properties, there may have been a few more terraces on the plot of land where the apartment are now.

Thank you  :)
