ANZAC enlistment papers query
« on: Wednesday 25 April 18 10:13 BST (UK) »
Good evening everyone, I hope that you have enjoyed the Anzac spirit today.

Thanks to the Ancestry freebie, although I already have a copy, I have been looking at my grandfather's enlistment in 1915. (Yes, grandfather, not great grandfather. People come to parenthood late in my family!)

The certificate of medical examination declares that he ' ... does not present any of the following conditions ... traces of corporal punishment, or evidence of having been marked with the letters D. or B.C. ... '.

Can anyone please advise what D and B.C. mean?

Many thanks.
