I felr unsure last night and today I must correct myself, the address would not be Delauney`s Rd but Crescent Rd,if someone died in the hospital or Psychiatric Hospital or workhouse.
Sorry about that.

Wiki has this to say though it does not actually say registration district it may help

West Central Manchester covers the area in central Manchester west of Quay St, Peter St, and Oxford St. It covers the locales of Castlefield and St. Peter's Fields. Castlefield is located within The Historic County Boundaries of Lancashire.

This link has the list of districts and as per the other link West Central has never changed, this area includes the worlds first train station then called Central Station.

Wikitravel is a Web site for visitors and people wanting to know about a destination as it is now.  It does not deal with history of any sort, family or otherwise.  And that page does not claim to represent registration (sub) districts or any other official sub-divisions.

Lancashire BMD has a list of sub districts, although it does not as promised indicate what locations were covered by each one.  Manchester West Central existed from 1939 to 1969.

Hi Viktoria

You are correct in saying Crescent Road I just added the correct number 123 was the number given to the workhouse at the time and that is what was recorded on the death certificate, any other number and it was not the workhouse.
