Thank you. All the villages are within 5 miles and names often repeat around each. Brothers cousins fathers and sons.....a couple of daughters who served as well.
We are thoroughly enjoying the trails we are following stretching out around the globe as they emigrated or sadly never returned home.

In case you'd like this too and haven't seen it yet....not your villages, of course, but related.

Looks like another brother served in the Canadian Expeditionary Force....Wilfred Arthur. His entire military file has been digitized and is available to view for free. Click on PDF part way down the page; it is very very slow to download.
