Thomas Corby married Margaret Bray by Banns St Botolph without Bishopsgate, City of London.
4 Jun 1794, both single both signed x. Witnesses looks like Thos Harnup & Rich Swimner?

1 tree on An…….y notes his DOB as 19/7/1761 and Margaret Bray as his wife.

But doesn't this 1794 marriage mean they had illegitimate children? My ancestor, Martha Corby, was baptised on the 12th of November 1790, in Enfield.

I'd only ever looked into Martha's baptism in 1790, so I used that as the date. I looked after getting the marriage details and found multiple children born before this 1794 marriage, as far back as 1783.

I don't think it is at all unusual for the children and marriage to be in the "wrong" order. I am sure there are many who could give examples. I certainly can.

Did Thomas and Margaret live long enough to appear on a census  :-\

Does her death give age at death

ADDED it looks like Thomas died in 1831 age 80 so born c1751
