Thanks JJ , I used to have access till I upgraded my FindMyPast and now I don't .Does the name Elliott Merton ring any bells to do with school ?

Other than a photograph of 'Dairy School at Warkleigh' credited to Elliott & Son, Merton.

Looking further there are a number of other articles/photographs which are credited to Elliott & Son, Merton.

Would this be who you are looking for rather than a person called Elliott Merton?

If so some Library tickets give online access to the British Newspapers archive.

I have found some other references which seem to suggest that it was something that roamed the county rather than being at one particular place.

Thank you both , yes in Uk so that is an option .  Under the postcard photo of Dairy School it does say Elliott Merton so I think you are right JJ .
