Looking for Hoffman Family in New Jersey
« on: Friday 27 April 18 21:02 BST (UK) »
My ancestor, Amelia "Amy" Millham married a man by the name of Mr. Hoffman and they had 4 children - Ellen Hoffman, Emma Matilda Hoffman, Samuel Hoffman and Mary Hoffman. Amelia was born in New Jersey in 1827. I am attempting to find a name for Mr. Hoffman. If you can help I would be very grateful. Thank you in advance.

Grateful as always Sandra. Yes, the Millham, Hoffman and Hartsell family are all related. I wish the 1850 census showed the relationship of them all. The birth of Samuel G. Huffman fits in with my family notes which say that he married and Edith Gardner and they had 1 child. Other Hoffman children, Ellen, married a John Vreeland; Emma Matilda married a ? Kerrigan and had 1 child; and a Mary Hoffman of which I have no information. The birth of Susan was a bonus as I did not have her listed in the family notes.
