If you look at the 1901 image for the 43yr old Matilda - there is a Robson family on the same page which may or may not be a coincidence

The 43yr old Matilda St George is really 23yrs old and it is her parents John & Matilda Robson who are shown on the same page. 

Mum Matilda hasn't aged at all - she's managed to stay at 46 between 1891 and 1901!!!

This looks to be Matilda Robson bor c1877 with her parents in 1881. ancestry has transcribed the surname as Robinson but a correction has been submitted by username patina179.
