Hi, I am wanting to check what this handwriting says. It is the occupation from a census document and it looks to me like "craps dealer". Does that sound right?

Crape Dresser

A Dresser is someone who operates machinery which prepared threads in the textile industry. I suggest Crape is 'Crepe'
