Eliza Nathaniel burial recorded amongst a group of 78th Highlanders burials at Hyderabad, hers on 8 February 1845, aged 24.

More on Martha tomorrow.

Thomas and Eliza NATHANIEL had a child, William born 13 Aug 1844 and baptised 21 Aug 1844 in Karachi, Bombay ("Kurrachee" on the transcription)

You're not alone! My thing is forgetting to change from Male to Female or forgetting to change the area when I'm desparately trying to find people & I'm sure many of us on here do the same thing  ;D

I have looked for Annie Nathaniel on the 1881 census, no sign, she is on the 1871, name Ann Isabella aged 10, she is on the 1891 census visiting her parents. She was married to James Benson.

Where was she on 1871 & 1891 please as it saves people having to look-up what info. you can tell us?

Annie Isabella Nathaniel's parents were Thomas Nathaniel and Martha Gunn, Annie was born 15/2/1861, Bo'ness, West Lothian, she married James Benson, 1888, Cambuslang and married William Purvis, 1929, Uphall, West Lothian. On the 1871 census it was Bathgate, the 1891 census Bathgate.
