Can anyone tell me how close or far apart these places would be or direct me to a map please with all these places?

I'm struggling to find potential children for a couple (without using more credits than I want to on SP) as they seemed to move frequently & possibly in the above areas not helped with other familiy members in some of those areas with same names.

Hi Annie

The website www.douglasbrown.co.uk used to have really useful maps showing the different registration districts for Glasgow.

The site went some time ago...so glad now I made copies  ::) ;)

Thank you Monica!!!

That's a fantastic wee map.

My head is like Spaghetti Junction having to do searches on google 'distance from..to...' for each place & takes forever.

I will definitely be keeping a copy of your copy  ;D

I can now go back to VRs to see if I can find him anywhere then check for births (if there were anymore) than the 2 I have pre 1911 census.

Cathcart is your odd one out of that set! Modern map here https://getoutside.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/local/cathcart-glasgow-city

Now showing as Glasgow area, before it showed under Renfrewshire.

Thanks Monica...

The addresses I have from above dates all seem to be listed as Burgh of Glasgow including the Cathcart one so that should help although it seems to be quite distant from the rest  :-\

At least I have a better idea of where to look now as the 1st ones are great!
