 H.M. Submarine E.4., sunk off Harwich August 15th 1916
 Memorial in ST. MARY CHURCHYARD, SHOTLEY, Suffolk. Submarine Enclosure

Does anyone know of any other records of this submarine sinking ?
I have details of my cousin who was onboard and died that day, but would like to get more info. on this sinking.

I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.
 
It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.
