Possibly Hassell?
I would also say Hassell.

But in the first extract posted, I think it's written Hasser. Maybe misheard?
(There is no p, it’s a long s + short s.)

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I also wondered if it was Haswell.

I don't think there's room for a w. If it's Hassell (as I think), the up-stroke of the 2nd s is missing. Compare the s in deceased in the line below? Just my opinion.

Agree maiden surname is 'Hassell'.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards

If giving us the full exact detail of the cert is against copyright, then,
why not give us the search parameters of how you found the doc?

Plus what else you know?

Think about how many people are busy trying to mirror what you have?

Only [ REALLY ] trying to help.

Not sure what doc you are referring to. I am simply trying to decipher the mother’s maiden name on two certificates from SP both of which I have posted.

Hi

You've snipped foto from doc?

Tell us what else is on the doc?
Names/date/WHERE/?

You have to type it out so as NOT to fall foul of copyright?
