JAMES  HUSTON  BROOKS died on 21 Aug 1915 . He had served with the Royal Inniskilling/Irish Fusiliers. In 1901 and 1911(Census) the family were living at Hooker St, Belfast. However, the birthplace of James and his siblings was given as Ballygarvey, Ballymena. Listed as Church of Ireland in 1901, Presbyterian in 1911. Mother Margaret, siblings included Jessie, Robert, Andrew and Jemima.
Does anyone out there have any information which might help to locate James' burial place ?

He appears to be commemorated on the Berkshire book of remembrance.
Do you know why?
He doesn't appear to have any medals for overseas service so assume died in the UK.
Is this your conclusion?
OK I see he had TB & was discharged April 1915.
He may have bee convalescing in Berkshire.
Have you found his death cert?
