Hi, hope someone can solve the mystery for me.
William Beveridge born 1847 in Dunfermline married Grace Gibb and I have found the records however........ when I search for the couple under Grace Gibb I always find Grace Hill married to the same William Beveridge !

Did he marry twice or maybe Grace had been married before?

Which records are you looking at?
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire

I can see his mother was Grace Hill - and his father was William - could that be where the confusion has arisen.

Can't see the full census but William the son seems to be with parents not with a wife - when did he marry Grace Gibb?

Is this the parents of the William Beveridge that married Grace Hill 11/8/1846 Dunfermline ?

James Beveridge married Margaret Thomson 30/11/1792 Dunfermline
Birth for William Beveridge 23 /2/1806 Dunfermline father James Mother Margaret Thomson

Possible death for this William Beveridge 1856 Aberdour fife mother name Thomson

I don't see any marriage for William Beveridge born 1847 to a Grace Gibb or Hill on S P

I think we are looking at two different families here you would be better to post the information on the son William that you have so we can try and solve the Mystery ..
