I can see on FindMyPast, a marriage in 1654 of a Gilbert WOODWARD on Boyd's Marriage index.

Could someone please tell me the name of his wife?

Boyd's says Mary Hodgkin and the venue Knipton.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Luckily I have a copy of that register.

I see it "Gillbert WOODWARDE Minnistar and Mercie HOTCHKIN were marryed the 20th of February 1654"
