Marriage of Ellen McGregor and Arthur Edward Cunnington, 1969

Hello,

I realise that parish records probably aren't available for this marriage. Are there any newspaper announcements? The marriage was in Brentwood in 1969. Ellen had been widowed in 1961 following the death of her husband, Alexander George McGregor.

I'd appreciate any help!

If you look at the SEAX site it tells you what registers are held.

If you mean the actual parish of St Thomas, Brentwood, then the site confirms that Marriage registers are held at the record office (and available to view online at SEAX) for that period.

The actual parish of St Thomas is relatively small. Much of what is in Brentwood town is actually in the parish of South Weald or Warley.

Unfortunately I've no idea where the marriage took place

If it was Non conformist or Register Office, then there wont be Parish Registers anyway.

Well her first marriage doesn't show up in parish records so there's a chance it may have been a register office wedding.
