South African Military Records

Can anyone help with the correct current contact details to find military records for South African soldiers in WW2? (None of them are living).   I am aware of contact details as per this forum for a few years ago but that email address no longer seems to work. I am really keen to find my grandad's military records and those of some other family members.

They have always answered me and sent summaries - other than that you could use a researcher to go in and copy his file.

Thanks for that -they do however demand an ID Document (SA one) or passport before they will give any info.  I sent my UK drivers licence and hope that is ok - not heard back since Mrs.Molekane replied promptly to my enquiry and said they required this ID.  They are also changing their email address from June.  Hopefully they will forward from their old email for a while.

I think they will respond I am in Aus and also got an answer like that then about 3 weeks later they sent through the summary. Originally they sent photo copies of the original docs, now they seem to send a summary document. I did hire someone to go into the archive and get me copies of my Grandfathers military service across both world wars and the interim reserve forces between the wars. pricey but cheaper than the air fare to Johannesburg!
