The marriage registration in 1918, which would be open access, should say the father's name. Unfortunately, marriage registrations in WA didn't state the couple's birth places until 1923 (http://www.jaunay.com/bdm.html). You could get the family's understanding of Ellen's birthplace from the death registration (1976), but you would likely have to prove a direct connection to obtain that registration.

I think without the father's name from the marriage registration or another source, at least, you could never be sure any Ellen BRADLEY born around 1888 is the right one.

BRIERS-BRADLEY.—On November 23, at St. Francis Saviour's Cathedral, Geraldton, by Bishop Kelly, Patrick Norman (late 16th and 44th Battalions A.I.F.), youngest son of the late William and Catherine Briers, New Norfolk, Tasmania, to Ellen, eldest daughter of John and Mary Bradley, Snowdon-street, Gerald-ton.

At time of burial 22-9-1976 she was 88, so birth year of 1888.
