There are 4 other Corners in 1939 - 70 Rosemary Road if that's the right family

Doris Annie
Frank William
Harry Ernest
Irene Ethel
This should be the correct family. The 1911 census shows William Henry, Ethel Alice, Gladys Emily, Doris Annie, Frank William,Henry Ernest and Arthur George. Irene Ethel born 1914

A free search of the 1939 shows a William H Corner (1878) in the Reading area as well as your William in Camberwell (1879) so it looks as though you can discount the Reading one  :)

ADDED burial for Reading one gives abode as 11 Coley Hill.
If the Reading death is not correct that leaves Dorchester which location wise seems unlikely

A death would be registered where the person was at the time.  He did not have to be living there he could have been on holiday or visiting someone.

ADDED These are the places covered by Dorchester reg district

Looks like the Dorchester death is the correct one. On 28 Feb 1945 at Dorset Co Hospital of cardiac failure and acute asthma. William Henry Corner of 6 potter St, Northwood Hills Mdx. Reported by D A Luff (daughter) of same address.
My William had a daughter Doris Annie born 1906 Lambeth who married in 1942 Uxbridge to Arthur Luff.

Thanks for the assistance. Much appreciated

It is good to know that you have got the right death.  It would be nice to know what he was doing there  ;D

He and daughter were far from home. Maybe moved out of London area due to WW2?

The death certificate would not give the Middlesex address if they were living elsewhere at the time.
