The entry in the second image reads as this:

Brinf.  Pete fil Petri George et Maegan Ux. 28

fil = filius = the son
Petri = of Peter
Ux. = Uxoris = his wife*

* if I have the case ending correct.

ADDED:

There's a possibility that the wife's name is Margan.  I still think Maegan is more likely.

I believe the name in the first image is

Uwchymynydd Ucha (Uwchymynydd = above the mountain; and ucha(f) = upper).

In the case of farms or hamlets, this would imply there were two with the same name, being distinguished by the higher one being Ucha(f) and the lower Isaf.

I see that there is a place called Uwchymynydd on the Llyn Peninsula, in Gwynedd.

Here is UwchyMynydd Uchaf. It's to the West of Hope village and South of Tryddyn/Treuddyn

I'm so glad you interpreted and located the place name GS and Gadget - it was driving me mad!
Also glad that the second baptism has been properly translated.

Hi Gagdet,
My Granny used to say "born in Hope die in Caergwrle" except I didn't know how to spell the last placename. Spent many summer hols round there visiting relatives before emigrating to the other side of the world.
