Trying to account for Charles Wyatt aged 8  1841 Census Blackshaw Glossop.
S/o Joseph and Ellen Wyatt.

Cannot find birth/bpt. record.

Searched later census and disproved joined Royal Navy.

Stowed away in barrel voyage to New York , married and settled USA[/color]
A Charles Wyatt aged 38 Found with wife and infant chaldren 1870 US Census Falls City Nebraska.
Also possible marriage Nebraska 1867.
A burial 1878 Richardson County Nebraska aged 40 could be him but should be a few years older.

Appears to be sole beneficiary.
He died 5 Dec 1873.

I see that James was granted Administration so there was no Will.

Still farming at Blackshaw in 1851/61/71 but Charles not with the family.

That is my query. Last sighted Oct 1859 Glossop but investigating biography which has a Charles Wyatt from Sheffield travelling Illinois to Nebraska 1859.
Must not be my man.
