where did William WINTERTON live in 1711

The attached clipping has been taken from William WINTERTON's Will in 1711.  There is a place mentioned in the second line "within the town and Libertie [?] of ?

Any ideas?

The same word is also in the 7th line down. All I can think of is Raisbie.

Thanks Sami.  Not being a local I couldn't find anything similar although with your input I located a Rearsby.

This may be its contemporary spelling??

Not that I am aware nor do I don't pretend to know. The place to which I referred was Rearsby, Leicestershire on Google Maps. Its a town [?] about 6 - 7 miles from Barrow Upon Soar.

Sorry. I meant "Raisbie in the County of Leicester" was what I think I can read in the Will.

Oh and yes it seems that way but I couldn't locate such a place which is why i though I had better seek local knowledge.

Just want to confirm that IJDisney's reading is correct.

The Liberties of Barrow upon soar are mentioned in the fifth line.

Note in relation to the first mention of Rasibie that it is ...Town and Liberties....
