I wonder if this is Mary Ann ATKINSON in the 1841, at Spring Gardens, Doncaster

George Atkinson    30     Yorkshire  (I think it says plumber)
Mary Atkinson       30
George Atkinson    4
Mary Ann Atkinson    8
Thomas Atkinson    25

HO107/1340/28 pg 22

Actually, on second thoughts this may be wrong ... I think George snr is a painter and glazier, as in the 1851:
George Atkinson    39    Doncaster, Yorkshire
Mary Atkinson       42    Owston
George Atkinson    15    Doncaster
Harriet Atkinson      9    Doncaster

HO107/2347 / 392 pg 18

Hi Maddys52. Thank you. Someone else came up with Mary Ann Atkinson being the daughter of George -a plumber but had the mother's name being Elizabeth. Mary Ann married James Lupton, who was mentioned in my initial query, at Doncaster, apparently in 1857 but could have been earlier because they were supposed to have arrived in Victoria Australia in 1857, with James' brother George. I had one source say they were married in 1855 but that could be wrong. George could have changed professions during the period between 1841 & 1851. Really, it's only Mary Ann's mother's name that's different.

Also in the same grave are Ann Eliza Maude (27) and Farrar Maude (5 months).
Ann Eliza died 11th July 1866 of Parturition(childbirth) and was buried 13th July 1866. Informant Joseph Maude of 25 Paradise Terrace, Dewsbury Road, Leeds.
Farrar Maude died 25th November 1866 of Bronchitis and was buried 27th November 1866. Informant Joseph Maude now living Pemberton Street, Leeds.

Death notice in the Leed's Times, Saturday, July 14, 1866, Vol. XXXIII, Issue 1738, p.8
"On Wednesday, at Paradise- Terrace, Dewsbury-road Leeds, aged 27, Ann Eliza Maude, only daughter of John Lupton, corn miller, Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia, formerly of St Peter's street, Leeds."

Sounds like John went to Victoria too?

Thank you. Wow! I’ll have to look into any trace of John in Victoria. The other info I received yesterday from someone but good that you found it too. Appreciate your work.

It looks like this might be a brother to John (to help find his parents): death notice in Leeds Mercury, Saturday, October 20, 1849, Issue 6046.

"Same day [Wednesday 17 October 1849] at Wakefield, much respected, aged 48, Mr Thos Lupton, brother of Mr John Lupton, of St. Peter's-street in this town."

Also found a death notice for Alice, Leeds Intelligencer, Saturday, March 15, 1851, Vol. XCIX, Issue 5060, p.8

"Leeds- Monday last, after a long and painful illness, aged 41, Alice, wife of Mr J Lupton, of St Peter's-street."
