I am searching for the marriage of Nicolas Vernhes and Marie Gisquet ( or Gisquette) in 1715 (most probably in Aveyron departement ) according to the site Myheritage but where precisely?
Their son Joseph was born 1746 in Flavin (la Vayssiere). They are said born in Comps (La Grandville) in Myheritage but I did not find anything.
Thank you if you have a clue.

Forgive this, I don't know about the usual marriage age in France  :-[

However, if the marriage was dated 1715, then I would assume that the bride was in the region of 20 years of age.  A child born 1746 to that mother would mean that she would be 50'ish  :-\ :-\

Blimey, you're right, I have skipped a generation. Thank you for pointing this mistake.
I'll work on that and come back.
But I am still searching the marriage of Nicolas and Marie.

1746 was the year of birth of one of Joseph's sons , also called Joseph.

on Geneanet  several persons have Hilaire , apparently Nicolas and Marie's first child ( the one who married in Luc (village , not forename) born ca 1712 or ca 1722 , place unknown. I found only one who has Joseph as a child of Nicolas and Marie, but no dob or pob.
I did not find the marriage or birth of children in Tremouilles.

Myheritage gives :"Marie Gisquet born 1678, parents Pierre dit l'Angel Gisquet and Louise Cahuzac.Pierre was born in Comps.Louise ca 1645-1650 Comps.
Marie Gisquet married Nicilas Vernhes 1715,aged 36. Nicolas born in Comps 1689. They had a son :Joseph ."
