Marjorie Scarfe (1915-2000) - some colour for this baby please
« on: Wednesday 09 May 18 13:14 BST (UK) »
This is an image of my cousin Marjorie at 3 months old - can she have some colour please.

I notice she has a ring on her finger - is that unusual for such a young child - my cousin who sent me the photo said that it was a sign that the child was not expected to live long  :o

The lovely Marjorie. Just some subtle colours.
Restorers : Please do not use my restorations without asking my permission first. Thanks.

Good quality size scans will mean much better restores >> hint hint :-)

Thanks Japeflakes for your lovely subtle colourisation of Marjorie - it never ceases to amaze me how each restorer brings something new to a photo.

Beautiful Rami - love the lilac colour of her dress which really brings out its detail - another one for the album so thank you

One from me too.  I assume Mother is under the blanket, holding her, as was the common practice in those days!

Lovely warm tones on this version - if mother is under the blanket it might account for Marjorie's slightly quizzical expression  :)
Very many thanks GS
