Hi Clive,
I grew up in Korokoro and lived on London Road.
I have a book "Calling Korokoro Home - A history of the hill 1800-2003" by Kate Malcolm with Ruth Mansell and others which was prepared for the Korokoro School Centenary in 2004.
I have checked the index for Saunders/Sanders however there is no mention of this name in the index.
I do know of a Williams family which lived in Te Whiti Grove.
Happy to check for names or any other info.
Wendy
