Thank you for your help! I have spent some time looking at the two sites and can not find the birth that JJen referred to for Michael. In fact could find no Howletts at all so clearly doing something wrong. The census record I am sure is for Michael - but would like the birth / baptism certificate to ensure I am right.

Name   Michael Joseph Howlett
Date of Registration   1905 - Jul-Aug-Sep[1905]
Registration district   New Ross
Birth Country   Ireland
Volume   4
Page   575
FHL Film Number   101070

Hallmark can you tell me the site where i can apply for a photocopy of the above for €4.00. Sorry if I am missing the obvious here.

many many thanks

It was pretty Useless posting record of his birth without posting a Link to it!!

If you had entered the data in the Image you'd have easily found it.... Find one.... then change years to look for others!

You are looking for Michael BUT as the book index was used you get some who were only entered by Surname in the Index  but entered full on the Cert.

So just put in what is in Image  change years to find siblings
