In 1911 that pair are living with Thomas and Mary Alice Kellett (nee Jackson) in Poulton-le-Fylde

Thank you all of you, yes this is all the same family. Peter Jackson died in Preston in 1898, this is when all the family were split up or so the story goes. I have seen that Elizabeth and Henry Bamford are living with their daughter in Poulton which is also where she died. I recently noticed that Henry Bamford born I think 1900 was registered as Jackson before Elizabeth and Henry married.

Story goes that Henry Bamford disliked the other children and that is how they ended up in the workhouse. William Jackson who is my husbands grandfather came to poulton to live with his sister, and they were a little cruel also. This is where he married.

I do have the Adam Jackson on the 1911 census in Lytham but given his brother Richard Henry left the workhouse in April 1905 and arrived in canada May 1905 Im not convinced as the person who filled me in about William said the youngest two were shipped off to Canada. Adam left the workhouse September 1905, but cannot find much after that, unless it is him in Lytham.

Thank you so much for all your replies it does help when a different set of eyes look.

Susan

That one in Lytham (actually St Anne’s.) I am not convinced the name in Adam. It is definitely an ‘n’ at the end but I have a suspicion the way the first 2 letters are written that the name could be Alan

OK the only Alan/Allan I can locate was b 1893 Rochdale, and still there in 1911, maybe the one b Preston used his middle name?

PS the lower case "d" in the Richard above him, looks the same to me in Adan?

Again thank you, Ive looked at all the different ways it might be spelt even just putting A Jackson , still nothing other than that one in 1911. Given I was told the 2 youngest got shipped off I am not convinced this is him but given no others pop up it could be. I searched through many WW1 records and not found him yet, but also know that many of the records were destroyed.
