my towns history page ! the Pines, Kapunda South Australia
« on: Thursday 10 May 18 14:28 BST (UK) »
I run a history page for my town and there are many photos which would come to life in colour but this one in particular would have to be a favourite. Would someone be so kind as to give it a go? Circa 1917 RSL picnic at the Pines, Kapunda South Australia - raising funds to build a soldiers memorial hall

Hi Mish, great photo.

Can you provide a link to your site? 1917 might be too late but I did have relatives in that area in the second half of the 18th century.

Thank you :)

Well that took some doing, but I finally got there, I think.
It is a wonderful photo and a great pleasure to work on it. Good luck with the fund raising.
