Historical Search Room Edinburgh

I know it is a big ask but is anyone planning a visit to the historical search room. I have all the details of a will, date and reference, but the year is not yet digitised.

I am uncomfortable with the open ended nature of searching and copying by post. Non - refundable £15 seems steep.

This death in 1930 resulted in my mother being orphaned and I don’t know what happened to her in the years following this death so I am keen to see if the will includes provision for her care.
