Jean (John) Le Tissier Guernsey to Bendigo
« on: Friday 11 May 18 00:42 BST (UK) »
Looking to see if I can see a death of

Jean (John) Le Tissier.......  I have his birth in Guernsey, CI, St Peter Port 1826

my tree wants to link it to a death in Bendigo Victoria and a marriage to a Mary E Smyth

His parents are Daniel Le Tissier and Anne Robilliard....

I have gone through all my usual searches and can't locate anywhere to verify this information...

Thanks for that.....  my link was only to the basics.....  so It could well be just probably need to to find John of 1826 death maybe that will help.

If I have it correct it is quite possible as as I have been researching Alfred Mills who came to Sth Aus (according to his obit on the The Surprise from Guernsey) but he is not on the passenger list but his obituary also says he went to work on an Uncle's farm at Willunga and if I have right Jean Le Tissier it would be Alfred's mother Henriette (Harriet) brother!!!!  The Capt of the Surprise is possibly a rellie Capt Nicholas Marquand which is also on his mother's line.
